ON THE GO OIL CHANGE SERVICE LLC Terms & Conditions
By scheduling vehicle services with ON THE GO, the CUSTOMER accepts and agrees to the following terms and conditions:
CANCELLATIONS
The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that should they need to cancel their scheduled service, at least 24-hour notice is requested via business phone at 843-406-3466.
The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that rare circumstances, such as extreme weather, motor vehicle collisions, employee illness, etc., are beyond the control of ON THE GO, and should these circumstances arise, ON THE GO may be forced to cancel a customer’s service appointment with limited notice. ON THE GO agrees to contact the customer via business telephone as soon as possible to alert the customer of the cancellation and arrange a new day/time to provide services, or a refund if the customer has prepaid for services and does not wish to reschedule.
ACCESS & PERMISSIONS
The CUSTOMER understands and agrees to have their vehicle prepared for service at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled service time, to include parking the vehicle that is scheduled for service in a safe, level, low-traffic location, and ensuring the vehicle’s engine and hood are not obstructed.
ON THE GO provides services at locations where the customers have the consent of the property owner or manager to perform such services. The CUSTOMER understands and agrees to have the authority to consent, or to have obtained all necessary permissions of the owner or manager of the location where the vehicle is scheduled to be serviced. The CUSTOMER understands that failure to obtain these permissions may result in ON THE GO being denied permission to enter the location, or removed from the service location in the midst of performing service. Should ON THE GO be forced to vacate the service location either prior to or amid completing service, the vehicle shall be rendered inaccessible, and any payment made prior to the scheduled service will be non-refundable.
The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that the vehicle keys will be in the possession of the ON THE GO technician while the vehicle is being serviced, and we respectfully request the CUSTOMER not attempt to access the interior of the vehicle while it is being serviced.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that ON THE GO takes no responsibility for valuables and personal property located on or inside the vehicle while it is being serviced. The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that the ON THE GO technician will be working under and around the vehicle, and any valuables or personal property located on or inside of the vehicle will not be supervised. The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that it is their responsibility to either secure valuables and personal property in a locked compartment in the vehicle, or remove valuables and personal property located on or inside the vehicle at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled service time.
MANUFACTURER REQUIREMENTS
The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that ON THE GO will service the vehicle in accordance with the vehicle’s manufacturer requirements, to include the engine oil grade and filter The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that should they request the ON THE GO technician utilize a difference grade of engine oil and/or alternative filter other than the vehicle manufacturer recommended engine oil and/or filter, ON THE GO is released from all civil and legal liability, and the CUSTOMER is responsible for any damage to the vehicle to include, but not limited to, its engine and its components.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that ON THE GO accepts cash, credit card and debit card payments only. The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that if they prefer to make payment via cash, the technician does not keep more than $20 in change on hand at all times. The CUSTOMER understands that if they use a credit card to make payment, a 3% processing fee will be added to their bill prior to processing payment. ON THE GO does not accept checks as a form of payment at this time.
OIL CONSUMPTION
The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that all vehicles powered by internal combustion engines may consume some quantity of engine oil when in use, and the engine oil level should be monitored in between oil changes by the vehicle owner or operator. The CUSTOMER understands and agrees that the recommended engine oil change interval is not a recommendation of ON THE GO, and is provided by the vehicle manufacturer.
